What is Bitcoin Mining

Bitcoin mining is the process of creating new bitcoin that are entered into circulation, performed by using very sophisticated computers that solve extremely complex computational math problems.  Once the equation is solved a block is complete and then added to the blockchain.  Miners are then rewarded with the new bitcoin that is added into circulation.
